Out with the Old

Well its out with the old 2006, which on a personal level has been very up and down, and in with the new 2007. High hopes for this year despite hitting the big 40 in the middle of it. We are just off to Norfolk for the New Year. 2007 will be busy and I will be creating a new blog for the new fabrics and notions for the Cotton Patch which I currently list on the Whats New Page . The plan is to carry on with that but create a concurrent blog of it as well so that those people who use blogs can find our updates more easily. Happy New Year.

Punchneedle sheep

Janet has just started a new project on a needlepunch sheep. Very cute and easy to do. Click here for punchneedle kit .

Christmas Cards and double sided sticky tape.

Christmas Card Making Well we made our own Christmas Cards this year, luckily we managed to pick up some bargains in a shop that was closing down, and as usually happens we have supplies left over. We had a number of glitters, I would recommend Moss Green as it gave a greater depth than just a plain silver which also looked a little dark. Although making about 50 cards we had about half of each bottle left, so we needed somewhere to store all those. Also there was some metallic card that we had left over that I am using a planning tube to store since it seems the best thing. Have to hunt out a box for the glitters though and the double sided tape, I picked up an Art Bin catalogue recently and they have some nice items.
